GLEN ROCK, N.J. — Clara 'Claire' M. Byrne,, 86, of Glen Rock, died Saturday, Oct. 15.
She was born in 1930.
Prior to retiring, she worked in the department of radiology and medical imaging at Bergen Regional Medical Center, Paramus.
She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Hackensack, a member of their Rosary Society and a member of the Columbiettes of Trinity Council.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Byrne; and her parents, Charles and Josephine Muller.
She is survived by her children, Gary and his wife Cindy, Kevin and his wife Patti, Michael and his wife Jeanne, Jack and his wife Martha, Timothy, Terence and his wife Janine and the late Linda LaCoppola and her husband Sal; grandchildren, Matthew, Jenn, Caitlin and her husband Ricky Jones, Jimmy, Jessica, Danny, Kimberly, Vanessa and her fiancé John Nunez, Sean, Corey, Tommy, Joanna, Ryan, Rebecca and Darcy; and great-grandson, James.
The funeral will begin at 8:45 a.m. Friday at the G. Thomas Gentile Funeral Home, 397 Union St., Hackensack. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, 34 Maple Ave., Hackensack. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park Cemetery in Paramus. The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
